You will never believe what sells!

This whole process started to make a couple extra dollars a month so I could continue to stay home with Kayley and ended up being some good quality family time. Kayley and Austin enjoy the hunt for treasures as well. Kayley has filled her bookshelf with more books than any 2yr old needs in her life and collected quite a few dress up dresses...which we wear daily!! Austin also finds some neat things as well, mostly shirts that are his style but for the cheap yard sale prices.

A couple of weeks ago Anthony received a call from a former co-worker that he used to work with at Circuit City. Unfortunately, her Uncle had just passed away and her family was selling his stuff to help pay for his services. Apparently he was a hoarder, like the one on the shows, and had tons of random stuff for sale. Anthony went to check it
out and came home with these...
3 sets of signal light covers! I saw them and thought, um yeah, who wants to buy t
hose. He also came home with a Don't Walk signal lense as well. Well, it turns out there are alot of people who want these things! For what I ask!? We bought each lense for $1 a piece and ended up making almost $200 on ebay, which to me is insane!!!!!

We also buy furniture that are projects and I wish that I remembered more often to take before pictures but here is one of our finished projects:

Before After

The table was found on its own and was posted on its own with very little activity. Then we found these barstools a couple weeks after and decided to paint the table black to match. Within 24 hours I had someone text wanting the table. We sold the table for $100 and bought it for $15!!

We have also had a lot of luck with desks...

this desk was 100% bare wood and we sanded it down and painted it an antique white.

I will do my best to start remembering to take before pics that way you can see the neat transformation!
